My latest book is a story about my grandfather who was one of the First World War volunteers to walk in the Kangaroo recruitment march from Wagga Wagga to Sydney in December 1915.

The story follows his early years growing up in Wagga Wagga, going overseas to fight in the Great War and his return to Australia as one of the many wounded survivors.
